Anyone may submit photos to the Embracing Light from the Darkness National Photographic Project. Although donations to the Embracing Light project are appreciated, they are not a requirement for sending in photographs. Each person may submit, in total, a maximum of two photos. It is preferred that digital files be 5 megabytes or smaller, and be in JPEG or JPG format. We retain the right to decide the appropriateness of any submitted photograph. Special Notes about the Your Photographs It is important that any person featured in any photograph submitted must have provided his/her consent to the photographer for the submission of his/her image. By submitting photographs, photographers represent that they have received this consent.Photographs are not to contain previously copyrighted material by other individuals – such as any sculpture, artwork, and the like. By submitting photographs, all photographers agree to release the Diocese of British Columbia from any claims, losses, and damages arising out of their participation in the Embracing Light from the Darkness National Photographic Project.
